To maintain the integrity of our platform, this Prohibited & Restricted Products Policy details the types of items that cannot be listed, sold, or promoted on Vauxmart. By registering as a seller or listing products, you acknowledge and agree to adhere to this policy along with Vauxmart’s Terms & Conditions, Seller Agreement, and all pertinent laws and regulations.

Consequences of Non-Compliance:

Failure to comply with this policy may lead to various actions, including but not limited to warnings, suspension of account privileges, removal of listings, permanent termination of seller accounts, or potential legal action.

1. Absolutely Prohibited Products

The following categories are strictly forbidden on Vauxmart under all circumstances:

• Illegal Products:
  • Items that are stolen, including counterfeit currency and fake identification documents.
  • Products that infringe on trademarks, copyrights, or patents, including pirated software and unauthorized replicas.
  • Goods that are smuggled or unlicensed.
• Controlled Substances & Drugs:
  • Narcotics and illegal drugs, including marijuana, unless explicitly authorized within specific jurisdictions.
  • Prescription medications listed without proper licenses or approvals from health authorities.
  • Unsafe dietary supplements or any unapproved medical substances.
• Weapons & Explosives:
  • Firearms, ammunition, and any form of explosives are strictly prohibited.
  • Military-grade equipment or surplus items that are not compliant with local laws.
  • Knives or blades that are marketed explicitly as weapons.
• Hazardous & Restricted Chemicals:
  • The sale of pesticides, poisons, radioactive materials, and other hazardous substances is not permitted.
  • Corrosive, toxic, or flammable chemicals are also banned from our marketplace.
• Adult/Obscene Material:
  • Any form of pornographic content or sexually explicit materials is strictly prohibited.
  • Adult products that are not legally permitted in the seller’s region or target market cannot be listed.
• Human & Animal Parts:
  • The sale of human organs, blood, or body parts is strictly forbidden.
  • Any products derived from endangered wildlife, including ivory, fur, or other materials sourced from protected species are not allowed.
• Hate or Harmful Content:
• Products or content that promote hate speech, discrimination, violence, or any form of extremist ideologies are expressly banned.

2. Restricted Products (Allowed Only with Conditions)

The following categories may be listed on our platform only if sellers comply with all relevant legal, regulatory, and Vauxmart-specific requirements:

• Alcohol:
  • Permitted only in regions where alcohol sales are legal. Sellers must hold a valid license and adhere to strict age restrictions which will be enforced at checkout.
• Tobacco & E-Cigarettes:
  • Require compliance with local regulations and clear labeling. These products must not be marketed to minors or vulnerable individuals.
• Over-the-Counter Medicines & Health Products:
  • Must be genuine, sealed, and approved by local health authorities. Sellers must provide accurate descriptions, and disclaimers are required.
• Food & Beverages:
  • All food items must comply with local food safety regulations. Expiration dates must be clearly displayed on products, and no expired or repackaged items will be allowed for sale.
• Cosmetics & Skincare:
  • These products must be genuine, sealed, and compliant with local regulatory approvals. Detailed ingredient lists and expiry dates are required for transparency.
• Electronics:
  • Must be original, safe, and adhere to local electrical standards. The listing of counterfeit, cloned, or uncertified devices is strictly prohibited.
• Financial Services / Gift Cards:
• Prepaid cards, vouchers, or other financial instruments can only be listed by authorized sellers. Any fraudulent or unauthorized cards are not permitted.

3. Region-Specific Restrictions

Recognizing that laws vary across countries, sellers are required to comply with all relevant:

• Local laws, including import/export regulations.
• Customs and tax requirements specific to the seller’s jurisdiction.
• Vauxmart’s country-specific policies where applicable. Non-compliance may result in product removal and potential account suspension.

4. Seller Responsibilities

As a seller on Vauxmart, you hold the responsibility to:

• Ensure that all listed products are genuine, safe, and comply with legal standards.
• Provide clear, accurate product descriptions and adhere to all labeling standards mandated by law.
• Obtain all necessary licenses and permits before listing any restricted items.
• Promptly remove any prohibited items immediately if notified by Vauxmart.

5. Vauxmart Enforcement Rights

Vauxmart reserves the right to:

• Remove or block any listings at any time based on policy violations.
• Suspend or terminate seller accounts upon discovery of any breaches of this policy.
• Report any illegal activities to relevant authorities as necessary.
• Withhold payments to sellers found to be in breach of this policy while investigations are conducted.
